    Medicare Fees:

    At Sow and Grow we want access to Mental Health care to be be as afforable and accessible as possible. Therefore, we offer reduced rates for Medicare referrals.

  • ALL Telehealth Medicare referrals are BULK-BILLED for concession holders. See below for further information regarding concession eligibility. Non-concession holders will be required to pay the full-fee amount to then claim Medicare benefit.

  • Medicare initial (intake) consult - Upfront fees vary however approx. $50 cost after rebate.

  • Medicare Return consult (50 mins) - Upfront fees vary however approx. $30 cost after rebate.

  • Medicare Return consult (30 mins) -Upfront fees vary however approx. $15 cost after rebate.

    Private & NDIS Fees:

  • Initial (intake) consult - $200

  • Return consult (50 mins) - $180

  • Return consult (30 mins) - $140

  • Concession - Prices vary. See below for further information regarding concession eligibility.

    Administration Fees:

  • Non face-to-face administration - $230 per hour

At Sow and Grow, we understand that financial hardship may limit people’s access to mental health supports. We aim to make support as affordable and accessible as possible. Therefore, where availability allows, a limited number of private concession or reduced-fee appointments may be offered to clients who hold a valid Australian concession card, are full-time students, are experiencing financial hardship, or have limited access to services due to location. Eligibility may be discussed confidentially during intake and may be supported by documentation such as a concession card or student ID. Reduced-fee places are limited, subject to periodic review, and standard payment and cancellation policies apply.

FUNDING

  • NDIS prices are set by the NDIS price guide. We accept plans that are both self-managed and plan-managed. We do not accept NDIA-managed plans.

  • Clients with valid Medicare referrals from their GP who meet concession criteria are eligible to receive bulk billing at the price of the current Medicare rebate. There will be a small gap fee for non-concession medicare referrals. Please speak to your local GP for a referral.

    Extended Medicare Safety Net (EMSN)

    The Extended Medicare Safety Net (EMSN) boosts your Medicare rebate for psychology consults (and other health costs) once you hit an annual out-of-pocket spending threshold, significantly reducing your costs. You start by getting a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP for up to 10 individual/10 group sessions. Once the threshold is met (e.g., $2,544.30 for general, $811.80 for concession/FTB(A) in 2024), Medicare pays a much higher rebate (80-90% of the MBS fee), so your out-of-pocket cost is reduced.

  • Private health insurance is also able to cover significant gaps, please contact your Private Health provider for further information.
